Welcome
to the Foxburg Country Club and Golf Course
Tucked
into a grove of ancient oaks, on an escarpment high above the
gentle Allegheny River, our beautiful log clubhouse commands an
imposing view of the valley below. Built in 1912 as a private
residence, it was acquired by the Country Club in 1942 for the
sum of $5,000. It houses The American Golf Hall of Fame on the
second floor, where visitors will find a priceless collection
of golf clubs and other exhibits depicting the 400 year history
of golf.
We
cordially invite you to play our historic
nine-hole course.
-
We are a USGA Member Course, open to the public from April
1 to October 31.
-
The pro-shop accepts all major credit cards.
-
We have a good selection of logo clothing and other items for
the souvenir hunter.
-
Hot dogs, snacks, coffee, and cold
drinks are available in
the pro-shop.
Our golf
course isn't long, but don't let that fool you. Our fairways
are narrow, our rough is deep, and our greens are small and
fast. Time here is still measured in seasons. The
hours pass softly in the company of good friends and when your
round is finished, there's a little time
left over for quiet reflection.
